Profiles for illuminated letters from CAB (Elkamet L23 and S489) are used as edgings for bordering illuminated letters and advertising lettering. The extremely weather-resistant CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate) is used as a material for the profiles. A metal foil is embedded in the profile in order to stabilise the form and prohibit shrinkage. The plastic coating is transparent or coloured, and has a glossy surface.
