On Monday, June 1, 2026, we held a ceremony in the cafeteria in Friedensdorf to honor employees who have been with Elkamet for 25 or 40 years. Such anniversaries are not something to be taken for granted. They represent many years of experience, a sense of loyalty, and people who approach their work with perseverance and a sense of responsibility.

40 Years at Elkamet: Special Recognition for Mustafa Gülec
A special moment was the tribute to Mustafa Gülec, who has been with the company for 40 years. The mayor of Biedenkopf, Jochen Achenbach, was also present for the occasion and presented him with a certificate from the State of Hessen.
Mr. Achenbach expressed his admiration for the employees’ combined 215 years of service and, in his remarks, recalled the days of the fax machine and the Deutschmark. At the same time, he thanked them for their hard work, which strengthens the region.
Mr. Flammer, Mr. Bergmann, and Mr. Parsch conveyed the congratulations from management. They presented the employees celebrating their anniversaries with certificates of honor from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Ms. Helen Vaupel congratulated the employees on behalf of the Human Resources department. Frank Löber offered his congratulations on behalf of the works council and presented each of the employees celebrating their anniversaries with a gift basket.
A small spread from the cafeteria helped create a pleasant atmosphere. In this intimate setting, there was time for conversation, reminiscing, and reflecting together on what has been built up over many years.
