elkaCIRCLE presented
in the ‘Dragon’s Den’ session As part of a ‘Dragon’s Den’ session – modelled on programmes such as ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’ – the team from the Plastic Profiles for Technical Applications and Lighting business unit presented the elkaCIRCLE programme. The presentation focused in particular on the benefits the programme offers for applications and projects in the lighting sector.
Focus: Standards compliance for bio-based materials
A key focus of the presentation was on how bio-based materials comply with existing building standards – for example, in fire safety. The discussion on this topic showed that sustainability and technical requirements must be considered together in order to bring solutions into widespread use.
Discussions, workshops and new contacts
In addition to Elkamet’s presentations, the congress offered a varied programme of workshops and talks on current sustainability developments in the lighting industry. For Elkamet, the conference was also a valuable opportunity to forge new international contacts.
The participants also included numerous existing Elkamet customers – which led to many personal conversations and reunions.
