Some awards come and go. And then there are those that really mean something. For us at Elkamet, being included in the SZ Institute’s ‘Strongest Family Businesses 2026’ ranking is one such honour. Not simply because the name Elkamet appears on the list, but because our position in the ranking reflects what we strive for every day.
Responsibility with a name
In issue 154/2026 of the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Germany’s top 100 family-owned businesses were presented under the headline ‘Where responsibility has a name’. Elkamet Kunststofftechnik GmbH ranks 6th in this list, making it one of the country’s strongest family-owned businesses.
The SZ Institute assesses not only financial indicators but also factors such as sustainability, corporate responsibility and the ability to think long-term. These are precisely the values that have shaped Elkamet for generations. As a family-owned business, we make decisions not for the next quarter, but for the next generation.
An achievement that belongs to many
This accolade is not the achievement of any one individual. It is the result of people who work with passion and precision every day, of customers who place their trust in us, and of partners who grow alongside us.
For this, we say from the bottom of our hearts: thank you.
