Elkamet receives the CAT SER Award for Excellence

The ‘Supplier Excellence Recognition’ award stands for consistent quality, continuous improvement and strong collaboration. This is precisely what CAT has now recognised in Elkamet.

What lies
behind the SER Award Elkamet was recently presented with the SER Award by its customer CAT. SER stands for Supplier Excellence Recognition – an award established by CAT for suppliers who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

What contributed
to this success The award is the result of a consistent programme of improvement that has been implemented in the day-to-day work of many teams. This included, amongst other things:

An internal Six Sigma project that has systematically enabled cross-departmental improvements over a period of more than a year
Internal initiatives to promote process stability and organisation, including 5S workshops
Reorganised assembly lines, which have made processes more clearly structured and efficient
