The Training and Recruitment Day on 12 June 2026 gave many guests the opportunity to find out about our training and study programmes and to chat with future colleagues.
Career guidance rarely comes solely from texts, job postings, or brochures. Often, it’s a conversation or a firsthand impression that determines whether you can truly picture a company’s responsibilities, work style, and environment. That’s exactly why we at Elkamet host an annual Training and Recruitment Day—to create a setting where questions are welcome and our training and degree programs can be experienced just as they are in everyday life: direct, tangible, and firsthand. What makes this exchange particularly valuable is that it involves not only our instructors but also current apprentices and dual-track students, because conversations on an equal footing often provide more guidance than a general overview.
At the Training and Career Fair on June 12, 2026, many young people took advantage of this opportunity, gained firsthand insights, and spoke with our colleagues.
Many of the future apprentices and dual-track students who will be starting with us this summer stopped by. For them, the day offered an opportunity to make initial connections and get to know Elkamet even better. These first encounters often make the transition easier because they help participants familiarize themselves with processes, key contacts, and the company’s atmosphere even before they officially start. The feedback from our guests was also very positive: many conversations revealed just how helpful such a day is for career guidance.
