Thank you for all these years together – Elkamet bids farewell to long-serving staff as they retire

Elkamet held a ceremony in Friedensdorf to bid farewell to four valued colleagues as they entered their well-deserved retirement. They leave behind many years of dedicated service and many fond memories.

On February 17, 2026, colleagues and managers gathered in Friedensdorf to bid farewell to four long-time employees as they retired: Roland Heck, Elvira Flach, Klaus Schmidt, and Peter Lauber. The event was marked by gratitude and appreciation. Eberhard Flammer, Michael Parsch, Lutz Bergmann, and Philipp Flammer from the executive board, together with business unit manager Steffen Balzer, production managers Joachim Rakowski and Christian Müller, and Samuel Franz, expressed their gratitude for the many years of dedicated and trusting collaboration.

Roland Heck had been part of Elkamet since 1977 and thus worked at the company for over 48 years. As the first apprentice in plastic molding, he made his mark on the company’s history. His colleagues valued him for his great reliability. Elvira Flach had been working at Elkamet since 2013 and was recognized as an extremely reliable colleague whose punctuality and dedication were always exemplary. Klaus Schmidt, who joined the company in 2021, was a key point of contact for maintenance and repairs. His ability to question things and help devise solutions was particularly highlighted. Peter Lauber, who joined Elkamet in 2004, contributed many ideas for process optimization and impressed everyone with his practical approach and technical expertise.

Frank Löber from the works council also expressed his heartfelt thanks for their many years of service and presented gift baskets to the four employees who are retiring. Human Resources Manager Michael Honndorf added to the farewell by presenting a bouquet of flowers as a token of gratitude and appreciation.

We wish Roland Heck, Elvira Flach, Klaus Schmidt, and Peter Lauber good health, happiness, and many wonderful moments as they embark on this new chapter in their lives. Their dedication and attitude have helped shape Elkamet over many years—and for that, we say from the bottom of our hearts: Thank you!
