The Marburg-Biedenkopf Economic Development Agency visited Elkamet with a film crew to shoot a corporate profile. The resulting film showcases key areas of the company and the close links between technology, the region and corporate culture.
The Marburg-Biedenkopf Economic Development Agency recently visited Elkamet with a film crew to produce a corporate profile. Filming took place at the site with the participation of the management team. In a series of sequences, the film crew documented work processes and captured insights into the various departments of the company. The resulting film has now been published on the Economic Development Agency’s website and provides a concise overview of our company.
Among other things, the profile highlights what has characterised Elkamet for decades: the close link between industrial manufacturing, technical expertise and regional roots. Eberhard Flammer’s enthusiasm for polymeric materials and applied process technology is a key theme, as is the inventive spirit that characterises the entire company. Creativity, curiosity and a passion for innovative process technologies characterise both the management team and the staff at the Biedenkopf, Wilhelmshütte and Friedensdorf sites.
The film illustrates how products are developed, tested and manufactured at Elkamet – often as bespoke solutions for global target markets. In doing so, the company makes a significant contribution to the region’s economic strength. It also highlights the high priority that Elkamet has traditionally placed on training and securing a skilled workforce. Since its foundation in 1955, the responsibility to be a strong employer has been firmly anchored in the company’s philosophy. In 2025, Elkamet will celebrate its 70th anniversary – a milestone that is also highlighted in the profile.
Another key focus is the company’s cultural and social engagement. The factory hall in Friedensdorf regularly serves as a venue – including for concerts by the hr Big Band and the district’s New Year’s reception in 2025. This demonstrates how industry and culture repeatedly come together in a special way at the Friedensdorf site.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Marburg-Biedenkopf Economic Development Agency for their visit and their professional cooperation during the filming. The resulting film offers an authentic insight into our company.
