A metal foil is embedded in the cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) profile using a special process. This enables Elkamet profiles to withstand any form of processing. In addition, the extremely durable CAB material ensures that the shape and color remain stable even under difficult environmental conditions.
Unlike PVC profiles of the same design, Elkamet CAB edging strips consist of 45% renewable natural cellulose. In addition to the Elkamet standard profiles, which are available in many different colors, we are also happy to check the feasibility of your individual profile based on your request drawing.
Our conductor rails offer maximum efficiency with maximum design freedom. The materials we use contribute to making the plastics industry more sustainable. We only process chloride-free materials with halogen-free flame retardants. Different shapes and sizes of copper conductors and an unlimited number of conductors in a single profile have made our conductor rails a success story for years.
