Diffusers specially developed for LED technology are added to transparent plastics such as PC or PMMA. The transmitted light is diffusely scattered over the entire surface of the component, without changes to the light spectrum and with excellent light transmission. The diffuse scattering of the material avoids "LED hot spots".
