The technical plastic meets the highest requirements in terms of brilliance and impact strength. The continuous operating temperature of 90°C, and even up to 140°C for short periods, means that it can also be used under extreme climatic conditions and fitted with high-performance lamps.

This is why Elkamet manufactures the luminaire covers exclusively from polycarbonate (PC).

PC is crystal clear and is characterised by good chemical resistance. The high impact strength is maintained even in extreme cold, down to -40°C.

The clear PC can be individually coloured according to the customer's wishes by adding pigments. Close cooperation with the customer is very important to us in order to be able to produce the desired target colour of the product as well as possible.
